The Resideo R200C2-A CO₂ Monitor is designed to accurately measure carbon dioxide (CO₂) concentration, along with temperature and humidity levels, using dedicated built-in sensors. By continuously analysing indoor air quality, the device helps users maintain a healthier and safer environment in both residential and commercial settings.  The monitor features automatic self-calibration, meaning no manual setup is required. Once installed, the device automatically adjusts to its surroundings to provide reliable air quality readings at all times. Suitable for a wide range of environments including homes, offices, schools, care homes, and workplaces, the R200C2-A is mains powered and includes a rechargeable internal backup battery that provides approximately 12 hours of operation during power outages. The unit also features a long-life CO₂ sensor designed to last up to 10 years. When CO₂ levels become elevated, the monitor provides clear warnings through traffic-light LED indicators, voice notifications, and audible alarms, enabling users to take action quickly by improving ventilation or leaving the area if necessary. For optimal performance, the device should ideally be installed in rooms with fuel-burning appliances or in spaces where people spend significant time, such as living rooms, bedrooms, classrooms, playrooms, and meeting rooms. As CO₂ is slightly heavier than air, the monitor can be wall-mounted at eye level or placed freestanding on a desk, table, or cabinet.
