How much is Delivery?
Free UK mainland delivery on all orders over £70. We try to keep our delivery rates as simple as possible.
We may not deliver certain goods or there may be additional charges if delivering products to the following areas:
Scottish Highlands
Isle of Wight
We urge any customer from any of the
above areas to contact us directly so we can advise and give the best service
possible to get your order to you.
How Quickly are Products Delivered?
We only deliver on working weekdays. We
do not deliver on weekends or Bank Holidays.
We try to deliver all orders at the earliest possible opportunity, however the dispatch time can be affected by stock availability and delivery location. In the unlikely event that the delivery time falls outside of this estimated dispatch period, a member of the sales team will contact you with 24 working hours of your order being placed.
Please note some products such as hot water cylinders are sent direct from manufacturer and will take 3-5 days to be delivered.
Please be aware that delivery lead times
are only approximate and we accept no liability with regards to any failed or
delayed deliveries. We would advise that you do not schedule an installer until
you are in receipt of your goods and they have been checked for any damage or
discrepancies.
Boilers n Bits will not be liable for
any costs incurred for late or failed deliveries if goods are not checked
before an installer has been arranged.
If you have an urgent requirement,
please contact us to speak to one of our advisors who can carry out a thorough
stock check and determine lead time for your delivery area.
How are the goods delivered?
The type of delivery is dependent on the
product(s) you have purchased.
Small Items (Parcels & Bags)
Smaller items are dispatched via a recorded
courier service.
This is an all-day delivery slot so your
item can be with you anytime up until 6pm. We cannot offer a time slot and no
guaranteed delivery time is given.
We have tracking facilities, and can
track your order if for any reason it has not arrived or delayed.
Large Items (Boilers And Appliances)
Larger items such as Boilers, Radiators and Hot Water Cylinders are delivered
by lorry so please ensure you have adequate space for delivery and where
possible, ensure access to your premises (doorways, path, driveway) are clear
of any obstructions, our drivers are only insured to deliver to the threshold
of a property, it is down to the customer to ensure they are capable of
handling goods within their own premises upon receipt.
Please contact us if you have any
queries regarding delivery of large appliances to your property.
Heavy and bulky items must be often handled by 2 people and whilst a delivery
driver will assist as much as they can during delivery, it is down to the
customer to ensure they manoeuvre and store delivered items in a safe manner to
avoid accident, injury or damage to the property or product.
Please dispose of any packaging safely and with consideration to the environment.
Where do you Deliver?
We deliver primarily to the UK Mainland Only, including the Isle of Wight, to regular domestic and commercial premises.
We currently do not ship to:
- PO Box Addresses
- Scottish Islands
- Channel Islands
- Northern Ireland
- Any other country outside of the UK
For customers in the Scottish Highlands, some items may incur a carriage fee in getting to you and maybe subject to differing lead times. For an accurate price and lead time to your area, please contact us before ordering.
We currently do not ship outside of the United Kingdom, nor permit collection from overseas courier/collection agencies for overseas shipments.
For boilers and expensive appliances, we can only ship to registered cardholders address only. This helps to prevent fraudulent purchases and transactions and protects the interests of both ourselves and our customers.
All orders are reviewed upon receipt and inspected by a member of staff. We reserve the right to cancel & refund orders if they fall outside of this rule.
In special circumstances, we reserve the option to offer an alternate delivery address to customers at our discretion.
Please note any orders going to an alternative delivery address to the billing address will need to be ordered online.
